My name is Lorenzo Geraci, I have created this blog as a small side project with three outcomes in mind:

1. Document the transition from a DELL Inspiron 5100 running Windows XP, to an APPLE PowerBook Pro, running OS X 10.5 Leopard AND Windows XP. The challenge is not to get the new machine operative, or migrate the data and files, the biggest challenge is to migrate the use, usage and usability, from one platform to the other, and migrate as much as possible to web-based services, possibly free. 2. The second outcome, is to document the technicalities, the choices, the nuances of setting up, maintaining, enhancing a blog; using this blog as a case study, a WordPress implementation. That is the reason for the second blog post: How did this blog happen?
3. Lastly, I intend to document, as much as I can, how this blog fits withing the blogsphere, the web, and the netizens.
